Dogwood Play Park, Seattle
Thursday, November 10, 7–9 p.m.
Doggo wants to start the weekend early—that’s one smart puppy! Take your brilliant bud to trivia at Dogwood Play Park to exercise the mind, body, and right to drink. Gather a few frens (6 players per team) and compete to win 75% of the pot (25% goes to local shelters) and a round of drinks. Bone up on the rules of Dogwood before you go.
University Way NE between 50th & 52nd, Seattle
Saturday, November 12, 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
Follow pup’s rumbling tummy to the University District farmers market to bask in the smells and tastes of Seattle’s oldest food-centric market. This vibrant year-round event has been filling bellies since 1993, and some of the vendors have been around darn near that long so you know they know food even better than Fido!
Seattle Barkery, Seattle
Saturday, November 12, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
We know solving the same puzzle over and over again gets old—well, our dogs feel the same! Bring your puzzle-loving pup to pick out a new challenge at Seattle Barkery’s Great Puzzle Exchange, at their South Lake Union and Shoreline locations. Bring the brain games you’re done with to pass on to other pups, and go home with a few new ones to stimulate that doggo mind.
Dog Yard Bar, Seattle
Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13, 9–10 a.m.
If your bestie is the hound variety, this one’s fur you! Dog Yard Bar is hosting two meetups this weekend. On Saturday, Scent Hounds like Bassets, Beagles, Catahoulas, Coonhounds, Bloodhounds, and more (plus mixes too!) will zoom around Dog Yard Bar. Then on Sunday, it’s time for the Site Hounds to play, including Greyhounds, Whippets, Borzois, Afghans, Wolfhounds, mixes, and more. Sniff out meetup details and register your dog prior to the event.
