You Should Know These 10 Things Before Getting A Puppy
1) Day pee and poop is literally out of hand sometimes. I’m trying to train him to pee on his pee mat, which is working really well but in its early stages he was kind of lost and didn’t really know the difference between a carpet and the pee mat.
2) You don’t get any sleep literally I’m not even joking the first couple of days he was insanely energetic. He was up all night. He was crying when i put him in this little cage that I have for him, because he really wanted to be with me even during the night. I have to take him out of the cage and cuddle him a little bit, or i will put my hand in his cage and then he would be quiet. Honestly, i did not get any sleep for the first couple of nights. Make sure you are ready for the sleepless night.
3) He wants to be with you 24/7, wants attention 24/7, cuddle him, play with him, so you really don’t have no time for yourself.
4) He always want more food. He always want to eat. He is literally worse than I am. I have to feed him three times per day and no matter how i give him he wants more. He is a growing puppy and always craving all the time. And if he does not get his food on time, he will cry and i will feel sorry for him and have to give him food.
5) Since he is a baby and teething. He actually love to teeth on everything he see around the house. Because he is teething and growing it is hurting him. I sometimes put my finger in his mouth and he will chew on it. If you have sensitive finger it not a good idea.
6) Puppy shots, your puppy will need about two or three shots before he completed four months.
7) He cry a lot when he needs to pee, also signals me when needs to pee or poop. I am just lucky he is able to do this to let me know before peeing and pooping all over the place.
8) Happy little puppy love playing. They play so rough they can hurt them-self. I have to watch him 24/7 to make sure he play safe and does not hurt himself. I make sure the house is clean and there is no sharp object or anything on the floor that could hurt him. He bite and chew on everything he see on the floor.
9) Dogs are expensive babies, you have to think of puppy shots, medicine, dog food. Dog do eat a lot, so you have to make sure you have enough dog food. This will going into your budget. You will be spending a lot of money.
10) After all puppies are like babies they are literally like babies and they do not care if something is dangerous. They just do whatever they want. They like to sleep, eat and poop, pee and go to sleep, and eat and play. The are full of energy. Enjoy them while they are young.
