The People’s Building, Aurora

Want to experience authentic Japanese culture? Head to Aurora for this action-packed festival. Beer and food hounds will love the Japanese beer garden and food trucks. Tickets are $10 and include admission, demonstrations, and classes. Check out their Facebook page for a full event schedule.
Dog Park at Belleview Station, Denver

Boogie, booze, and nosh on yums at our fave Denver dog park. Local bluegrass bands Ghost Town Drifters open at 4, The Wrecklunds play at 5:15, and Meadow Mountain shuts it down starting at 6:30. Catch local food trucks including Tibet’s, Bits & Pieces Con Cerveza, and Eskimo Bros. General admission tickets are $20. Tickets for admission and unlimited sampling from breweries, wineries, and cideries are $45.
16th & Raleigh (One block from Sloan’s Lake), Denver

If live music, craft cocktails, local brews, and handmade goods sound like your jam, get your paws to Sloan’s Lake this Saturday. This FREE bazaar features the Grown Ass Man Band. Vibe to the beat this Saturday, as both Bruz Beers locations host FREE live music. A to-be-determined band will be playing Bruz Beers Midtown, while local indie outfit Occam’s Rose will be rockin’ at Bruz Off Fax. Plus, it’s just a buck for a 4-ounce pour with purchase of a full draft.
Staunton State Park, Pine

Kick off International Assistance Dogs Week this Sunday with a day of outdoor fun at Staunton State Park! It’s time to celebrate and honor beloved service dogs with outdoor activities, refreshments, prizes, games, and more. Tickets start at $35 and include free parking, trail access, a wag bag, tails on trails bandana, lunch, and ice cream for both hoomans and doggos. NOM.

Name a more iconic summer Denver event than City Park Jazz. We’ll wait. This Sunday, Colorado Mambo Orchestra is playing a FREE concert you’d be mutts to miss! Pup is sure to shake his fluff to Cuban salsa and American pop standard songs with a Latin tinge. Bonus points: the people watching is primo, too.
