Bruz Beers Midtown, Denver
Saturday, July 9, 10 a.m.; registration required
Are you beer-motivated? (I mean, who isn’t?!) Have we got the perfect 5K for you and pup! Head to Bruz Beers in North Denver for a Colorado Brewery Running Series 5K. Registration is $35 ($53 if you want a T-shirt), and includes a free craft brew at the finish line, your choice of swag or collector’s pint glass, and entry for door prizes. 10% of proceeds go directly to a local nonprofit.
Elite Lifestyle Co., Denver
Saturday, July 9, 10 a.m.–noon
Come chill at this family-friendly event featuring yard games, kiddo activities, allergen-free snacks, and furry frens. Hosted by local chiropractors and acupuncturists at Elite Lifestyle Co., there’s sure to be pupportunities for holistic wellness, too.
3. Summer Concert Series
Bruz (Off Fax) and Bruz Beers Midtown, Denver
Saturday, July 9, 1:30–3:30 p.m. and 4:30–6:30 p.m. (Bruz Beers Midtown); 6–8 p.m. (Bruz Off Fax)
This Saturday, both Bruz Beers locations are hosting FREE live music. Bruz Beers in Midtown will be hosting 2 live musicians. Colorado-based Derek Dames Ohl will be playing his brand of Americana from 1:30–3:30 p.m. Hang around from 4:30–6:30 p.m. to catch Boulder-based rock and funk band, The Diabolics.
Meanwhile, Bruz Off Fax will be hosting local folk jam artist Grant Livingston from 6–8 p.m. Bonus points: It’s just a buck for a 4-ounce pour with purchase of a full draft
4. Beat the Heat
If you’re heat-sensitive, the forecast this weekend is lookin’ extra yikes, and Denver will feel like the inside of an airfryer. Why not take the chance to escape to the mountains for a lil’ day trip! Nestled at 8,200 feet above sea level, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens in Vail offers a jaw-dropping escape with gorgeous flowers and mountain views for doggos and hoomans alike. After your adventures, head over to Vail Brewing Company, where well-behaved woofs are welcome on the patio. Don’t furget your Patio Leash™ to keep pup near and dear while you savor a cold one.
Aspen Grove, Littleton
Saturday, July 9, 2–4 p.m.; pet food/supplies donations suggested
While you relax, your pup can splash this Saturday at Aspen Grove. The Humane Society of the South Platte Valley is hosting a dog washing fundraiser, so stop by and have the team give doggo a b-a-t-h while you sip a beer from the BARBOX by Breckenridge (located on the grassy area north of Alamo) and soak in some rays.

Rescue Puppy Yoga
- This Sunday, July 10th, from 5–6 p.m., The Denver Athletic Club is hosting rescue puppy yoga for $25. The last 15 minutes of class are reserved to take pics, play, and fill out adoption apps if desired. Advanced registration is puppamended.
