The Lodge at St. Edwards State Park, Kenmore
Friday, August 26, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Your spontaneous sidekick likes a little improvisation, so treat him to the sounds of Jazz in the Park! Pounce over to the east side to Washington’s second most-visited state park to kick off your weekend with a night of jazz from Mambo Cadillac. Bring your own blanket or low back chairs and hang out on the north lawn of The Lodge. Self-parking is available in the St. Edwards State Parking lots but a Discover Pass is required.
Denny Park, Seattle

Pup loves a vintage find, even though most things are pretty vintage when you consider them in dog years. The South Lake Union Saturday Market is gonna be the intersection of vintage and handmade this weekend. If sniffing out a good flea market find doesn’t tire floof out, check out the Denny Park Off-Leash Area to really get those zoomies out!
Ballard Locks, Seattle

Leash up and grab your favorite snackies and a blanket for the Ballard Locks Summer Concert Series this Saturday. You and woofer can relax in the grass while listening to the sweet tunes of Tutti Frutti, a flute quartet, who’ll be playing various flute choir pieces.

Saturday, August 27, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Whose got four stubby legs and a floofy booty? Good chance it’s your Corgi! Corgis and Corgi mixes are welcome to join Corgi Fun Day, hosted by the Cascade Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club. Come check out fun activities like agility and obedience demos, a costume parade, and more, with like-minded (and like-legged) doggos! Registration is $5 per family and begins at 9 a.m.

Come celebrate all things summer at Freeway Park! You and your hot doggy can cool off with water games and sprinklers, listen to live music, and nosh on free food. Did we just say free food?! Pup, yeah!

Dress pupper in his finest purple and head to Jimi Hendrix Park for a showing of Purple Rain. The movie starts once the sun goes down, but get there early to enjoy the furbulous pre-show drag and trivia. For the ultimutt experience, make sure to pack chairs, drinks, and snackies!
