And we won’t judge if you seal the deal with a slobbery kiss once you’re officially declared married.
Villa Parker
You’ll think you’ve escaped to the Mediterranean at Villa Parker, a Tuscan-inspired villa just south of Denver. Impressive archways, lush gardens, dark wood accents, and a terra cotta roof set the stage for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies and receptions for up to 200. And if the fact that they welcome dogs didn’t draw you to this venue already, we recommend taking a gander at that grand entrance overlooking the Rockies.
Evergreen Red Barn
Elegance and rustic charm combine at Evergreen Red Barn. This classic red barn is 30 minutes from Denver. Say “I do” surrounded by towering trees as your “flower floof” or “ring woofer” proudly looks on. Then get ready to dance your paws off inside a reception space that boasts two stories, a ceiling of twinkly lights and a statement-making chandelier, and seating for up to 115.
Granby Ranch
Whether your idea of a wedding is an intimate occasion or a large soiree, Granby Ranch is your spot. The family-run ski resort 90 minutes west of Denver hosts mountaintop ceremonies that begin with a chairlift ride to the site and end with sweeping views of the Rockies.
Devil’s Thumb Ranch
Host all of your wedding-weekend festivities at one venue nestled along the Continental Divide. Located 90 minutes from Denver, the Devil’s Thumb Ranch features a European-inspired grotto for the rehearsal dinner, getting-ready spaces for the spouses, and multiple ceremony and reception sites fur up to 250 people. Best of all, its dog-friendly lodging policy means everypawdy can bring their furry companions to stay.
Planet Bluegrass Weddings
Exchange vows amid cottonwood trees and redstone cliffs on the 25 acres that make up Planet Bluegrass Weddings riverside venue in Lyons. There are yurts and cabins for the lucky-in-love folks and their wedding parties to get ready. You and your guests can enjoy outdoor and indoor spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. But just a heads-pup: Dogs’ll have to go home with the sitter after the puptials.
Spruce Mountain
A half-hour north of Colorado Springs, you’ll find Spruce Mountain, a 450-acre plot of land that offers two Colorado wedding venues for its couples, both of which include indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces, a bridal cottage or loft, a groom’s lounge (really anyone can use the spaces to get ready for their big day), and the ability to have your “best dog” or “woofer of honor” on-site all day.
Bella Sera Event Center
Bella Sera is an old movie theater that was converted to a vintage Italian wedding venue, and it’s doggone glam. High ceilings and warm-colored décor lay the foundation, while the grand staircase and balconies really deliver the “wow” factor. From the family portraits to late-night dancing, your doggo’s invited to celebrate the night away.
Harmel’s Ranch Resort
Give your guests the dude ranch experience at this remote venue in the Elk Mountain Range south of Crested Butte. Once the vows and rings are exchanged, you newlyweds can participate in activities like horseback riding, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, and rock climbing while your dog of honor plays with the ranch’s resident pups Stella, Mija, Kaya, and Poppy.
Aspen Grove at Sundance Trail
Dogs aren’t the only non-human guests permitted at Aspen Grove at Sundance Trail, a rustic venue two hours north of Denver. Horses, cats, ducks, and other pets are also welcome to witness your nuptials, which can take place in the charming lodge or carriage house, courtyard, gazebo, or garden. This is gonna be cluckin’ meowgical.
Maroon Bells Amphitheater
Lookin’ fur an Aspen wedding without having to pay an arm and a paw? Maroon Bells Amphitheater is located in one of the most picturesque, photographed spots in Colorado. But don’t worry about photobombers, the amphitheater is available for private use only, so you get perfect wedding party pics. Please note this venue holds 50 people and hosts ceremonies only, but the nearby East Maroon Portal Picnic Site is a great option for receptions.
Lodge at Breckenridge
Ranked as one of the most high altitude hotels in the world, Lodge at Breckenridge is a bone-tique hotel with million dollar views and beloved Colorado charm. Weddings can accommodate 220 guests on the expansive Sky View Deck and 175 people indoor at the Mountain View Ballroom. Lodge at Breckenridge welcomes doggos with a red carpet, including a doggy bowl and 2 private luxury guest homes ideal for the wedding parties.
