Things to Do Near Minneapolis This Weekend
Bent Brewstillery, Roseville
Saturday, July 9, 12:00–6:00 p.m.
Raise a pint and woof “cheers” to the furbulous life at this summer soiree. There’ll be furry frens to shake paws with and plenty of brews to go around. Be sure the floof brings her wallet—the pup-up dog-centric market is going to be full of locally made gifts and mutts-haves to get your paws on. This annual event is hooman-puppy friendly too, so bring the whole pack!
Unleashed Hounds and Hops, Minneapolis
Sunday, July 10, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Bring your lil’ pupsqueek out on the town to celebrate all things smol! Unleashed Hounds and Hops is inviting dogs 30 pounds and under, along with their hoomans, to an evening just for them. Grab your tickets for $6/dog (includes two hoomans) on their website. This indoor/outdoor off-leash park also touts a bar and eatery.
Don’t want to end the weekend just yet? Come back on Monday from 6-9 p.m. for their Pizza and Pups Date Night. For $45, you can get those paws on 2 wood-fired pizzas, 2 beverages, and live music for 2 hoomans (plus a doggo of course).

An untimed fun run, a free craft cider from Number 12 Cider, a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item, a chance to win sweet door prizes, AND access to all the event festivities? Ah, pup yeah! Your furry lil’ track star can run right alongside you, cheer you on from the sidelines, or just kick those paws up on their dog-friendly patio. Bad Weather Brewing Co., St. Paul
Saturday, July 9, 2:00–6:00 p.m.
Itchin’ for a little retail therapy? Take your fur babe out to Bad Weather Brewing for an outdoor craft market this weekend. Beyond their fantastic brews and house sodas, they’ll have over 20 vendors with handmade goods available to sniff. Fuel up with some noms from West Indies Soul Food that’ll be on-site and then head over to nearby High Bridge Dog Park, where you’ll score pawesome views of the city while floof gets out her zoomies. So much ‘sploring to do, so little time!
2. Soothe the Sunday Scaries
Feeling antsy about the weekend coming to a close? Take a cruise over to Eagan for the day. Start off at Wag N’ Wash where you can wash, feed, and spoil your little fluffer all in one stop—their do-it-yourself wash facility is fit for any canine queen or king. Follow up the pampering with a quick visit to their pawesome gourmet pet deli and bakery. Need a treat of your own? Make a pitstop at Cupcake for freshly baked cupcakes and donuts on their dog-friendly patio. Lastly, pounce on over to Bald Man Brewing to round out the weekend with a brew or hard seltzer and toast to a weekend well-spent.

Minnesota Pit Bull Rescue (MPBR)
- Head to Surly Brewing Company in St. Paul this Saturday, July 9th, where MPBR just might introduce you to your new furry bestie. From 1–3 p.m., you can meet some adorable, adoptable pitties while sipping on a beer or two. Don’t furget you can look up pup profiles ahead of time to see which cuties will be attending. Just be sure to keep any other pup siblings at home!
