The Collective is an urban clubhouse that’s partnered with Marcus Wright from The Northwest Dog Trainer and pet photographer Julie Austin to bring your pup a night of floofy fun! Grab your fave doggos and hoomans and head to the Collective’s patio for specialty food and bevvies, outdoor games, pet giveaways, and stellar photo opps. Snag that perf pic of pup and a few training tips while the pups play. This event is free, but don’t furget to register so they can get a hound headcount!
Carrie Blake Park, Sequim

Bark your calendars for the Sequim Lavender Festival, aka, the best smelling weekend ever! All the lavender farms in Sequim join together to offer a Mastiff festival of handmade products, food vendors, educational demonstrations, craft classes, and more. Hit max relaxation while inhaling lavender and petting ur pup at the same time—puppers are welcome at the Sequim park event and all the Sequim farms on our dog-friendly Washington lavender farm list.

It’s time to celebrate sweet senior doggos. Pups old and young are invited for a day of furry fun raising funds for Old Dog Haven. Start the day rrright with the pup pageant, multiple silent auctions with heckin’ great gifts, and a look-a-like contest for pawrents who look like their dogs. Grab some noms from multiple food trucks, dress up for the costume contest, and don’t miss the recognition for oldest furbabe in attendance. If your pup wants to be in the pageant, don’t furget to register!
Martha’s Garden, Seattle
Saturday, July 16, 12–3 p.m.; vaccination records required
Some doggos are more outgoing than others, and we love that for them, but the shy Shih-Tzus need playtime too. If your floof is shy and prefers to law low with you more than ruff house with wild woofers, bring her by the Shy Dog Soiree at Martha’s Garden. Your hesitant (yet adorbs, duh) pup can meet other shy dogs and maybe bond over their shared antisocial-ness. Martha’s got beer or cider for peeps and treats for good boys and girls. Send pup’s vaccination records to this email address before heading in for a mellow mingle.
Fircrest Park, Fircrest
Saturday, July 16, 10–11 a.m.; registration required
Your doggo was born to be a star, so the ‘FUR’crest Pet Parade seems like the pawfect event for him. Get out your craft supplies and build pup’s float and costume for a chance to win best float, most creative costume, or cutest costume. Pets of all species and sizes are welcome to this FREE event, so be puppared for lots of smells and new frens. Consider donating some of Buddy’s (unopened) food to support local pups when you check in for the parade.

Sunny Sky’s Animal Rescue
- You’ve got the 30-min. drive to Puyallup to dream up potential names for the cuties you’ll meet at the Sunny Sky’s Animal Rescue Cat & Dog Adoption Event and Ice Cream Social this Thursday, July 14 from 12–2 p.m. Enjoy free ice cream and doughnuts while you meet meowers and woofers, and who knows? You might just fall in ruv. Donations of unopened pet food, leashes, and harnesses are greatly appreciated.
Dog Gone Seattle
- Head to Old Stove Brewing this Saturday, July 14, to meet some wonderful woofers up for adoption. From 1–4 p.m., Dog Gone Seattle is hosting a 21+ adoption event where you can enjoy a pint on the patio and meet pups lookin’ for their furever homes. If you’re ready to make the leap, fill out an adoption application in advance and check out all the adoptable pups on their website. Dog Gone does not do same-day adoptions—gotta bond a lil’ first.
