Have you ever seen a dog walker strolling around the park surrounded by over ten dogs? If you have, you might also have found yourself wondering how someone could handle walking that many dogs when you have trouble controlling just one. While getting a pack of dogs to simultaneously head towards a direction you want them to is commendable, there is something even greater.
In Saratoga Springs, New York City, a man by the name of Tim Pink is able to make all the dogs he is walking on a given day pose for a picture. What makes the whole thing even more even more astonishing is the fact that no one is holding the dogs’ leashes while the picture is being taken.
Trick of the trade
Having been a dog walker since 2011, Tim of Saratoga Dog Walkers has developed a foolproof plan to ensure that he and all the dogs he would walk would have a wonderful time together. The very first thing Tim does is get to know all the pups he would walk.
Since he has been in the business for quite some time, most of Tim’s four-legged clients are already used to him by now. But, of course, someone would leave the pack from every so often, so Tim would have to get acquainted with a new dog. By doing so, Tim familiarizes himself with the dog’s temperament and evaluates whether that furball would be a good fit to the pack or not.
Next, Tim and his team practice calling each dog by their name so that they could get the attention of every dog whenever the need arises. Lastly, Tim makes sure that he always has all the dog’s attention. This way, none of the dogs would get distracted if, say, a cat walks in front of them.
Picture perfect
The result is a harmonious and fun-filled exercise day for Tim and the dogs. And since he is able to make the dog follow his every command, Tim manages to take pictures of every pack he walks on a daily basis.
