Things to Do Near Minneapolis and St. Paul This Weekend
The Howe Daily Kitchen, Minneapolis
Saturday, December 17, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
Looking for a chance to whisper your wish list to Santa? Pounce on over to The Howe to get your paws on some brunch and barking with the big man himself. After a few snuggles with Mr. Claus, pupper can even order straight from their dog-friendly menu complete with apps, entreés, and sweet treats. Bone appétit!
Base Camp, St. Paul
Saturday, December 17, 2–4 p.m.; registration required
Hold the bone because Santa Paws is coming to town this Saturday! Leash on up and join the Northern Star Cub Scouts for some holiday festivities. Get your paws on a picture with the big man himself, make a dog treat, and enjoy a holiday craft activity with floof. Just be sure pup’s on her best behavior because Santa’s still watching!

Saturday, December 17, 10 a.m.–2 p.m
Over the hills we go, barking all the way to another photo opp with Santa Claus. Let’s be honest, you can never have enough holiday photos of your sugar plum furry, and this one’s for a good cause! The suggested donation of $20 will lend a paw to the pups of No Dog Left Behind, and everypuppy who poses will receive 5-15 quality photos within two weeks.

Need to get your paws on some last minute gifts? This winter market has you and pup covered! Saint Paul Brewing’s dog-friendly, kid-friendly market is the perfect one-stop-shop for stocking stuffers and holiday gifts. Sniff out the 8 local vendors featuring unique goodies and finds, then grab a tasty bevy and a drool-worthy wood-fired pizza in their dog-friendly taproom.
Fusion Pet Retreat, Minnetonka
Sunday, December 18, 1–2:30 p.m.; registration required
Calling all pupsqueeks! Pint Size Pooches invites you to their monthly meet-up, and this pawty is going to be ever so merry. Happening at Fusion Pet Retreat’s agility area in Minnetonka, this event is all about giving tiny dogs a chance to focus on off-leash socialization and fun in a safe, relatable environment… and making new furry besties of course! Just be sure pupper weighs 15 pounds or less full-grown to join. The cost is $8/first dog and $4/each additional dog.
