The Shed at Midtown, Denver
Saturday, December 10, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
It’s been a busy week and all your woofer wants to do is spend every moment of the weekend with you. You’ve still got holiday shopping to do, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be together! Head to the Denver Makers Market to browse creations from local artisans, crafters, and vendors. Sign up to attend (free) and be eligible for a grand prize giveaway featuring items from the makers. Get there early—the first 50 pre-registered customers get a bag of goodies at check in.
Belleview Station, Denver
Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
Take the stress out of holiday shopping when you sip, shop, and mingle your way through the Belleview Station Holiday BAZAAR. With 70+ craft vendors and fashion trucks, holiday-themed pop-up bars, heated beer garden and street food, you and pup’ll be feeling holly jolly in no time. Entry is free, but you can purchase fun add-ons like bottomless mimosas, a cookie decorating workshop, or gingerbread house decorating.
Copper Kettle Brewing Company, Denver
Saturday, December 10, 4–7 p.m.
You’re running out of time to make sure pupper gets back on the nice list after digging up the neighbor’s garden (she was only trying to help!) A visit with Santa to explain the situation, plus a donation to Golden Retriever Freedom Rescue should do the trick. For just $10, you’ll get a pic with Saint Nick, plus enough philanthropup points to ensure a full stocking on Christmas morning.
Bruz Beers (Midtown), Denver
Saturday, December 10, 5–9 p.m.
It ain’t the holidays if you’re not drinking in matching sweaters with pup! Head to Bruz Beers Midtown for their annual Ugly Sweater Party, and you’ll score $1 off drafts for dressing the part. The Pie Queen will be in the house with her decadent pie and singing Christmas tunes from 5–6 p.m., and Teague Starbuck will play live from 7–9 p.m.
Resolute Brewing Company, Centennial
Saturday, December 10, 6 p.m.; reservation required
Can’t wait a few more weeks for Santa? Get yourself an early gift from Resolute’s 5th annual Boozy Elephant Gift Exchange. Bring a $25 (max) wrapped present to exchange—something you’d want to begrudge upon a stranger. Using white elephant rules, you’ll exchange gifts while drinking and laughing the night away. Wear your ugliest holiday sweater and receive a free beer card. Fluffy can dress to the canines too cuz pups are allowed inside the taproom.
Washington Park, Denver
Sunday, December 11, 8 a.m.
‘Tis the season for helping others, and the Jingle Bell Run is a fun way to get in the holiday spirit while racing to raise funds for The Arthritis Foundation. Leash up your jogging pal for this 5k or 1 mile run/walk around beautiful Washington Park. If your floofer is feeling extra festive, enter him in the Best Dressed Dog contest.
