Bring your hungry fren because rumor has it this dog-friendly market loves to see the woofers and will give them treats just for being cute! Stem Ciders, Denver
Monday, September 5, 7–9 p.m.
Stem Ciders will get your toes tappin’ and tails waggin’ on Labor Day with Cider Jam, an open Bluegrass Jam designed for intermediate and advanced Bluegrass pickers to share tunes, play new songs, and practice playing in a live band setting. We’ll drink to that! The music is played in the taproom, but you’ll be able to hear it out on the patio where pup is allowed to hang while you enjoy a bevy or two or three.
Sloan’s Lake, Denver
Saturday, September 3, 10:30 a.m.
Leash up pup and join the Tails & Ales meetup group for a lap around Sloan’s Lake followed by drinks at Joyride Brewing. The group meets at 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot off 25th Ave/W Byron Place and Yates Street. This is a great pupportunity to meet other animal lovers while doggo sniffs and socializes with others of his own kind.
4. Cool off in Cherry Creek
Cherry Creek Park, Aurora
Perhaps the best way to celebrate the unofficial end of summer is to wade through refreshing waters while breathing in the great outdoors! Cherry Creek State Park Off-Leash Dog Area is a 107 acre fenced space that includes access to the doggy oasis that is Cherry Creek. Plenty of walkin’, swimmin’, and sniffin’ will ensure your woofer naps the whole ride home. You’ll need both a park pass and dog park pass to enter, and it’s a popular spot so arrive early to avoid wait times.
5. Summer Concert Series
Bruz (Off Fax) and Bruz Beers Midtown, Denver
Saturday, August 27 @ both Bruz locations
The outdoor garden space at Bruz Beers Midtown will come alive Saturday with music, beer, and food beginning with a family-friendly dance party at 4 p.m. followed by live music from 6:30–10 p.m. Over at Bruz off Fax, Denver-based, Wisconsin-raised singer-songwriter Celeste Rose will perform from 6–8 p.m. Plus, it’s just a buck for a 4-ounce pour with purchase of a full draft.
