The Shed at Midtown, Denver
Saturday, August 27, 12–5 p.m.
Floof says you have a paycheck to burn, and she’s lookin’ for something as unique as she is. Head to the Denver Makers Market to browse beautiful creations from local artisans, crafters, and vendors. Sign up to attend (free!) and be eligible for a grand prize giveaway featuring items from the makers. Get there early—the first 50 pre-registered customers get a bag of goodies at check in.
Belmar District, Lakewood
Saturday, August 27, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Keep your wallet handy because the Downtown Lakewood Farmers Market has 50+ vendors, including some pawesome pet-focused ones! Enjoy a morning of outdoor shopping, music, and food truck scented heaven. Pups are welcome as long as they stay leashed.
Thompson River Ranch Park, Johnstown
Friday, August 26, 5:30–10 p.m.
Pack up the family (don’t forget Fido!) and head north to Thompson River Ranch Park for a showing of Clifford the Big Red Dog in the park. The movie begins at dusk, but arrive early at 5:30 p.m. for fun activities for all ages including dog agility, games for you and your pet, a hooman food truck and dog treato cart, and more. Admission is free but register in advance to be entered to win prizes during the event. Don’t furget a blanket or chairs!
4. Summer Concert Series
Bruz (Off Fax) and Bruz Beers Midtown, Denver
Saturday, August 27, 6–8 p.m. @ both Bruz locations
Have you been rockin’ with Bruz Beers all summer? There’s still more music to shake your paw-paws to, so bark your calendars for this Saturday. Scottie Bolin from the Denver based jamgrass band, Morsel, will be playing Bruz Beers Midtown, while Teague Starbuck will perform at Bruz Off Fax. Plus, it’s just a buck for a 4-ounce pour with purchase of a full draft.
Little White Schoolhouse, Conifer
Saturday, August 27, 3–7 p.m.; Registration required
Faithfully K9 Service Dogs is hosting their annual fundraising event featuring live music, a silent auction, and service dog demonstrations. Come support this organization that trains veterans and people with disabilities to train their dog to become their service dog. Puppin’ cool, right? Your own doggo is welcome to attend if they’re super well behaved—there’ll be service dogs workin’ so your pup’ll need to ignore them!
16th & Raleigh (One block from Sloan’s Lake), Denver
Saturday, August 27, 4–8 p.m.
Summer is for sipping and mingling—add in shopping and you’ve got yourself a pawty at Sloan’s Lake this Saturday. This free night bazaar features more than 40 local vendors, street food, bands, cocktails, and more. There’s something for everypuppy!

Puppy Social Hour
- This Saturday, August 27, from 1–2 p.m., Denver Yoga Social is offering an hour of puppy love and brews (no yoga this time!). Register for this adorable gathering at Bruz (Off Fax) and enjoy a beer while socializing with other animal lovers and shaking paws with cute adoptables. A portion of ticket sales goes directly to Lola’s Rescue.
