This article is sponsored by our pals at Aspen Grove, the dog-friendliest shopping center around. Sniff out their farmers market on Wednesdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from June 15–Sept. 14!
Today we’re yappin’ about the seasonal shopping highlight of the year for organic hounds: the farmers market, pup course. The only thing better than this harvest hunt is having a furry pal by your side while you sniff out the scene, paw-ruse produce at its peak, and pick up other tempting treats and handmade goods.
Before Pup Visits Denver Farmers Markets
Woof to the wise: non-retractable leashes are a must, as is a stash of poo bags. Be safe! Bring a supply of water, take time to seek out shade on steamy days, and for the love of dog, don’t hit the pavement if the temp is intolerable for pupper paws.
Pssst…our exclusive Patio Leash™ is a little shorter to keep pup by your side, and clips to the table if you stop for a beer or a snacco after stockin’ up.
