Things to Do in Minneapolis This Weekend
Wildlife Science Center, Stacy
Saturday May 21, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Pup up north to Stacy, MN, to celebrate the dogs of our community at the Canine Carnival, benefiting the Wildlife Science Center. Sip on brews from Bent Brewstillery, chow down on tasty bites from PJ’s Grill, and shop the eclectic group of vendors. Fido’s bound to be entertained learning about the ancestry of his wolf relatives and taking in the impressive dog demonstrations. Event admission is $15/adult, $10/child, and puppers/hoomans 4 and under are free (just gotta be leashed). Register here.
Darby’s Pub, Minneapolis
Saturday, May 21, 12-3 p.m.
Pupper wants to support her fellow furry frens this Saturday afternoon. We know she’s a big spender, but we can’t blame her for spending all her coins on the raffle and silent auction to help support Red Lake Rosie’s rescue rez dogs—she’s got a huge heart after all! Nosh on food specials for hoomans on the dog-friendly patio. They’ll have treat bags for pups, too. Who doesn’t ruv a reason to grub out?

Get the weekend started early with B-I-N-G-O. Dust off your daubers—it’s time to win big for a furbulous cause. MN SNAP (Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program) is raising the woof at Urban Growler to raise money and awareness for their mission of providing high-quality AND affordable care to furbabies in need. Each $13 ticket includes a bevvie to sip on, a bingo entry, and a custom koozie. Well-behaved and leashed dogs are welcomed (actually encouraged).

Get your paws on rosé hard cider and wine all weekend at this annual Rosé Days Fest. Get in some shopping time at the outdoor market, shake your paw-paws to live music, and sip all the rosé pup could ever need. This orchard ruvs visiting fluffers, so take some time to soak in the sunshine on their patio or roam the orchard for the picture-perfect selfie (we both know pup’s an Insta-star). Don’t furget to pack your Sidewalk Dog Brewery Pass for a free pint!
