An Iowa woman named Samantha Clark decided to spice things up by changing the bouquet into rescue puppies on her wedding day. That’s right! The appealing bridesmaids held cute puppies instead of the usual flowers used on her wedding day. She genuinely thanks Pinterest for this brilliant idea.
At first, she wanted to use her own sweet dogs for her wedding. But then she realized, “…They already have love and home. So I wanted to try and help rescue dogs.” Samantha soon connected with AHeinz57, a local shelter that recently rescued poor pets-displaced by a hurricane.
Her caring husband Kendel Clark was skeptical about using puppies at the wedding, for they would groan and wail a lot. But the cute puppies didn’t do any of that, which left him truly pleased while their wedding went on perfectly. The thrilled bridesmaids held one of the puppies and walked down the aisle, gathering lots of love and ‘awe’ from the guests.
Eager families, friends, and guests wanted to take home the cute puppies. Still, sadly they would have to undergo the adopting process before they can adopt one. After the main event, crowds gathered around the cute puppies to hold and take lots of memorable pictures with them.
Near the wedding reception area, AHeinz57 prepared a table with a binder filled with pictures of irresistible dogs ready for adoption. Encouraging everyone at the wedding to freely choose and have easy access to the catalog and photos of readily adoptable animals they shelter.
After the wedding, one of the photographers adopted one of the sheltered puppies and named the puppy Ruby. Samantha and Kendel Clarks’s wedding photos uploaded by AHeinz57 skyrocketed, which gathered a lot of positive feedback and netizens’ attention. Soon after, the shelter arranged even more adoption applications.
