A day at the ballpark? Sounds fun. A ballgame with your furry best fren? Unfurgettable! T-Mobile Park is ready to welcome you and Fido to the dog-friendly sporting event of the season. We sniffed out the details on Seattle Mariners Bark at the Park games so you can plan a home-run day with your fave canine catcher.
Note: Dogs must be on leash with visible ID tags and in the designated doggy areas while at the park. You can find more info on T-Mobile park’s dog requirements here.
Dog-Friendly Dates
We agree with pup that any game with a ball should be dog-friendly, but for now, the 2022 Bark in the Park days are:
- Monday, May 9 (Mariners vs. Philadelphia Phillies)
- Monday, June 27 (Mariners vs. Baltimore Orioles)
- Tuesday, Aug. 23 (Mariners vs. Washington Nationals)
- Wednesday, Sept. 28 (Mariners vs. Texas Rangers)
Ticket Info
While doggo may be grrreat at sharing, he’s gonna need his own ticket for this one.
Before buying Babe Ruff’s ticket, make sure his vaccs are up to date and you’ve signed the release and waiver. The specially priced View Level Dog Pack is $30 and includes a ticket for one pupper (over 6 months) and one human (18 and over). Additional humans are $15 per person. Only one pup per human, so invite all the pup pawrents ya know! Tickets must be purchased online by 5 p.m. the previous business day (no same-day tickets are available).
P.S. There’ll be tons of Mariners pride at the game, but what if you don’t have any Mariners navy or northwest green in your closet? We suggest checking out our Dog Person hat in navy and spruce. It’s perf for game day and every day!
Game Day Entry
Pup’s got his ticket, you signed the release and waiver, you ensured his vaccines are up to date—only thing left to do is go to the game!
Before game time, all dogs and handlers must check in and enter at the Left Field Gate (on the Northwest corner of the ballpark near The Glove statue). Sniff out all game day deets here.
Pssst, before the end of the 3rd inning, bring your ticket to Section 339 to retrieve your limited-edition Bark at the Park Mariners-themed item. Paws crossed it’s a lifetime supply of hot dogs!
Designated Doggy Areas
Once in the park, keep your #1 fan on leash and in the designated doggy areas. Relief stations are also set up for pup cuz when ya gotta go, ya gotta go. There are plenty of water bowls to beat the heat, and the Mariners care so much about your lil’ woofer that they’ve even got trained vets on-site. On the rare occasion of a sunny Seattle day, the Mariners suggest bringing a spray bottle to keep your canine cool.
Walk the Bases
As if taking in a ballgame wasn’t enuff, every night’s main event is you and your sports fan walking the bases on the field! At the end of the ninth inning, puppos and owners can line up to take to the field and practice their home-run strut (on leash). Pup’ll be howlin’ “take me out to the ball game” ‘round the clock after such a pawesome day.
Is Bark at the Park for Your Dog?
A baseball game may be too heckin’ much for some floofs, and that’s okay! You may want to skip Bark at the Park if your pupper doesn’t do well around other dogs, people, and/or new environments. Baseball can also be a long game (3+ hrs) which may be overwhelming for some pups. At a big event like this, bestest behavior is a must, so T-Mobile Park officials ask rowdy or disruptive dogs to hang at home.
